Things That Are Not Seen


Your faithfulness extends to every generation, as enduring as the earth you created.(Psalm 119:90)

If we sit and think about all of the blessings of God, we have to acknowledge His faithfulness in every situation of life! It is the INTANGIBLE things that God truly blesses us with. These are things that can never be taken away from us; like treasures in heaven.

 In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life. (I Timothy 6:19)

God shows up with many intangible gifts when we need them. Mercy for example; and grace.

The LORD is good to all, and his mercy is over all that he has made. (Psalm 145:9)

From his abundance we have all received one gracious blessing after another. ( John 1:16)

God's faithfulness CANNOT be compared to man's reliability. I think that is why so many times we can't seem to believe Him for His blessings. We are too busy looking at all the people who have failed us and we don't focus on the fact that God has never once failed us.

The Word of God states, "It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in people." (Psalm 118:8)

He is faithful to every generation-even to the very last battle!!!

Then I saw heaven opened, and a white horse was standing there. Its rider was named Faithful and True, for he judges fairly and wages a righteous war. (Revelation 19:11)

I can truly say that I am more thankful for the things not seen. Everything else in life will not stay, but the intangible gifts that God gives to us cannot be burned up, destroyed or stolen. They will remain, just as He will.

You Will Reap What You Sow

Galatians 6:6-10 states,   The one who is taught the word is to share all good things with the one who teaches him. Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary.
