Shame

Shame. It is an ugly word with an ugly meaning. If you live in this world for any length of time you will, inevitably, carry some type of shame and regret.  Your shame may delay your progress or make you lose focus, but it does not write you off or knock you out of your usefulness. Many people, in the face of shame and regret, throw their hands up and walk away, feeling unworthy. Please don't be that person! None of us are worthy in ourselves.  God can still use you! That fact that you drifted away from God's best for your life, is less important than the fact that you intentionally came back to it. Psalm 25:15 states: "My eyes are always on the Lord, for He will pull my feet out of the net." This scripture was written by David. He failed more than once. He had huge influence, yet he could be found guilty of adultery, murder, pride and various other shameful things in his lifetime.
